Cougar Shoes reserves the right to refuse the return of products which are not sent back in accordance with our procedures and we may request that you pay for the shipping of such goods back to you.

Retail Purchases

We cannot refund, exchange or provide credit for products purchased from any of our authorized retailers.

Please return these items to their original store of purchase.


Online Purchases

If you've purchased your shoes or boots from another online retailer, please contact them directly.

We can only refund, exchange or provide credit for products purchased from our website.


All return and exchange items must be:

  • Unworn
  • Have all the original packaging and tags attached
  • Undamaged in the original box in resalable condition
  • Accompanied by the RMA form we'll send you after completing the Returns form below

Items not returned using the criteria above will not be eligible for a refund.

To make sure your return arrives safely, we strongly recommend you package your shipment protectively and send it by registered mail or courier. An item returned in a box that is damaged, marked or taped shut is not resaleable, and may make you ineligible for a refund.

Please note that returns are not pre-paid; the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.



Returning New, Unworn Product

You can return new, unworn products within 30 days of purchase for Cougar Shoes' online store credit or a refund of the product purchase price (minus original shipping charges).

Exchanges

You can exchange an item up to 30 days after purchase.

Exchange requests are subject to product availability. If the requested item is no longer available, a refund will be issued to your original form of payment.

Please note that shipping fees for exchanges are not pre-paid; the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

To start your exchange:

  1. Place a new order on www.cougarshoes.com
  2. Complete our Returns form below

You will receive your refund on the original order once we receive and inspect your return shipment.

When returning products and placing a new order, two separate transactions will post on your credit card – one for the new order, and one for the refund of the original item you are returning.



Returning Defective Product

Defective Cougar Shoes products purchased in a retail store or on another website must be returned to the original place of purchase.

Products purchased from this website with manufacturing defects can be returned for a free replacement pair within six months of the purchase date.

We ask that you submit pictures of defective products to verify their condition. If the pictures do not verify the defect and an inspection is required, you are responsible for the return shipping costs of the product.

We will happily refund return shipping (standard delivery) costs of products that are confirmed as defective by our Technicians.

For a thorough assessment, we ask that defective items are returned to us in a clean, dry and presentable fashion inside the original packaging.

If the original item is no longer available, we will provide a similar shoe of equal value, offer online store credit, or issue a refund to the original form of payment used on the order.

To return defective products, please complete our Warranty Claim form.

After submission, we'll contact you within 10 business days.



Returning Products On-Sale

On-sale items may be returned for Cougar Shoes' online store credit only.



Returning Products on Final Sale

Final Sale items may not be returned or exchanged.



Returns Form


Refunds for items being returned along with any applicable taxes will be credited to your original method of payment. We cannot refund shipping costs or taxes on shipping costs.

Your refund will be completed once we receive and inspect your unworn product(s).
