Traditionally a heels and stilettos fan, having kids made Sha start looking for more casual options.

As a mom of two boys comfort is now her number one priority when shopping for shoes, but she refuses to sacrifice style! Will our new Spring sneakers and slip-ons gain her approval?
What’s your earliest memory of caring about how you dressed?
I remember visiting Hong Kong for the first time when I was around 10 years old. I loved the way people dressed there (so trendy, even though I didn’t know the meaning at the time). It was so different than my own city and I wanted to dress like them. I made my parents buy me a few outfits when we were there, and that’s when I started picking out my own clothes.
“I love the Bloom Leather Sneakers because they have the most beautiful cherry blossom design on the back and the inside lining.”
How did you dress as a child? What was your favorite thing to wear?
I grew up in the beautiful city of Kunming in Southwestern China, and wore a lot of dresses and skirts when I was a little girl. My parents traveled a lot for work and always bought me the cutest clothes from all the big cities.
Share one time when what you were wearing had a big impact on your life.
When I first moved from China to the US in my senior year of high school, I lived in a tiny little town in the Midwest. Most people there didn’t really care about fashion – everyone wears plain t-shirts, sweatshirts, and basic tapered jeans every day.
Even though I brought new trendy pieces from Hong Kong at the time like cropped top, hip hugger jeans, and plaid pleated mini skirts, I was afraid to wear them because I wouldn’t fit in. I hung them in the closet and bought t-shirts, sweats and tapered jeans just like everyone else and absolutely hated it.
I lost my sense of style and had very low self-esteem. Over the years, I’ve come to learn that I need to be comfortable in my own skin, and I don’t need to change how I dress just to fit in.
What’s the most annoying thing about clothes/shoe shopping these days?
As a mom of two boys, I really don’t have much time to go to the mall to try on clothes and shoes.
I order all my clothes and shoes online but sizes vary among the brands. I always end up having to take something to the stores for returns/exchanges and often miss the returnable window. I really hate when that happens.

I’ve never tried waxing, it looks too painful!
“These Hint slip-ons are super lightweight, and I love the fact that I can wear the bare foot because of the breathable leather covered insole.”
What is the most underappreciated item in a woman’s wardrobe?
A belt seems to be one of the more unnoticed parts of an outfit but is a great accessory to have. They really make an outfit pop if paired correctly.
