What’s the most important style item to invest in?
I personally think handbags are the best style item to invest in because a great bag can last a lifetime if it is taken care of. Unlike clothing that can be grown out of or cease to fit (especially if you choose to have babies, like I did!) a classic bag can be worn through all stages of life.
“The Penelope boot is so warm and literally feels like I’m wearing slippers...”
If you could give one piece of fashion advice to yourself in high school, what would it be?
I would tell myself that it’s okay to only like certain styles and colours. Back then, I thought I had to fill my wardrobe with every trend and colour of the rainbow in order to have a balanced closet. Now I know it is so much better to fill your closet with only the things you truly love.
What item in your wardrobe do you wear the most?
Right now, I have been wearing my pink winter coat on repeat. A great winter coat is a necessity in Canada and the dark pink colour works so well with most of my wardrobe (and is so much more fun to wear than a typical black coat!)
What is the best fashion purchase you’ve ever made?
Buying my Chanel vanity case in Paris. I’ve wanted a Chanel purse for years, and when I stumbled upon the perfect bag in the perfect colour I just knew it had to be mine.
What would your perfect shopping trip look like?
I love shopping online, so my perfect shopping trip would involve me sitting on my sofa sipping a cup of hot tea while I click “add to cart”.
“I also absolutely love the wedge heel. It gives me a little extra height while still being easy to walk in.”
