Not heavy. Not clunky. Not ugly. Our stylish, lightweight & comfy anti-winter boots.

Here's a good joke:
Name the two seasons of Canada.
Winter, and July.
July is only one month of the year, which means in Canada we're usually pulling out our coats, gloves and winter boots out yet again.
Can you imagine wearing heavy, clunky winter boots for months at a time?
So this year, we gave our design team a challenge.
Create winter boots that were:
Comfy & Chic Winter Boots
As usual, they delivered. These boots are built to handle the worst winter can throw at you, in style.
These sawtooth soles are thick, but weigh very little.
To make a lighter boot, we use a dual compound outsole construction. The bottom of the outsole is ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) mixed with rubber for better traction and grip. The top of the outsole is white poly-eurothane, a lightweight and flexible material that doesn’t crease easily.
“Shorty may not have the apple bottom jeans, but now she has the boots with the fur. These [Vanetta] booties combine all of winter’s chic colors and tie them up together in effortlessly chic style.” — HelloGiggles
Mixing these two materials gives you the lightness and comfort of a sneaker with the durability and grip of a rubber boot.
To make these boots waterproof, we treat the suede early in the tanning stage to close all the pores and stop water from getting through.
Each shoe is submerged in water above the sole and flexed thousands of times to make sure no water leaks through.
Because of this treatment process, the leather also resists stains and discolouration.
Our warm Polar Plush lining is cold-temperature rated down to -24°C/-11°F.
That means these boots will keep your feet warm and dry, whatever the weather.
No more cold, wet feet when you walk through wintery slush!
There's also a cozy mule version for indoors!
Compliments all week
“The Vanetta has quickly become my go-to style for the season. Not only do I love the colour, but the faux-fur detail has been getting me compliments all week. I also appreciate the height of the boot because let’s be honest - when you’re dealing with snowfall that hit over one foot, an ankle length boot just isn’t going to cut it.”
Warm, comfortable & cute
“Canadian winter boots shopping basics: Get a boot that’s warm, comfortable, cute & which has an anti-slipping mechanism – in a nutshell, get these Vail boots from Cougar Shoes.”
Fashionable and damn warm
“My favourite boot hands down is the Vanora – the perfect mix of cozy, fashionable, comfortable and pillowy soft!”
